A bit of paper and pipe cleaner and I was able to turn my little sister into a puppy! Something I've always wanted! When I presented her to my mom and daddy they laughed so hard. When they calmed down, they took a picture for the blog. What costumes can you make with simple supplies like pipe cleaner and paper?

Making Jewelry
I had a play date with a school friend and we wanted to do a craft. It was her choice and she said she wanted to use the "jewels" and make a bracelet and necklace. So we got ribbon and glued the jewels onto the ribbon. We each made a bracelet and a necklace. My nanny suggested that I use velcro as a fastener since tying the ribbon doesn't work

Painted Canvas with Flowers
Today we used our favourite colours to paint skies on canvases.
My little sister painted stems on her "sky" and then glued flower and butterfly gems on her picture. It took alot of patience to get her to draw the stems because she is not very good at controlling how much paint she uses. In the end her picture will look beautiful in her bedroom. Give it a try!

Blue Sparkly Shoes
We had to go to a birthday party today for my little sister's best buddy from preschool. The other day he told my mom that he liked my little sister's sparkly pink shoes, only he would like them in blue. Of course the ballet flats did not come in blue but we decided to make our own blue sparkly shoes just for his birthday.

We bought a pair of running shoes, put craft clue on different patches of the shoes and then sprinkled on blue sparkles. My mom carefully pressed on the sparkles before shaking off the excess.
To make them even more special, my mom then used her hot glue gun (too dangerous for me) to glue on blue stars, like a real superhero.
My little sister of course insisted on trying one on. We will just have to decorate a pair of shoes for ourselves next time! You should give it a try!

Wreath Dream Catcher

When I was at my grandma's house over Christmas holidays I found a pine twig and curved it into a circle and tied it myself with a string. I then added pine cones hanging from wire that I got from my grandma. Because the pine cones hang down I call it a dream catcher wreath! My little sister and little cousin helped decorate it by getting snow to put on it! Give it a try!
Painter Tape FUN!
Today my little sister found painter tape and wanted to stick it everywhere. Mommy let us as long as it was only on walls and floors (not carpet). I decided to do a hopscotch and my little sister decided to do a wall decoration. Give it a try!
